La nostra massima attenzione e' da sempre dedicata a produrre soggetti che rispecchino lo standard di razza ed alla forte socializzazione dei cuccioli allevati. La scelta degli accoppiamenti e' sempre frutto di attenta analisi. Non solo dei soggetti utilizzati ma anche, nei limiti delle informazioni disponibili, dei loro ascendenti, discendenti e collaterali. I risultati sino ad oggi ottenuti, nelle esposizioni di bellezza, nelle prove di lavoro e di obedience, come cani da utilità o da pet-therapy, dai nostri soggetti e dai loro discendenti, ma soprattutto l'elevata soddisfazione dei nuovi proprietari dei nostri cuccioli, ci indicano come la strada intrapresa sia quella giusta. Le razze Schnauzer sono collocate fra i cani da utilità, guardia e difesa. Tale classificazione, seppur forse oggi scarsamente rispondente al reale impiego della maggior parte dei soggetti prodotti, non deve far perdere di vista quali siano state, ed a parer nostro, debbano continuare ad essere le qualita' morfologiche e caratteriali degli Schnauzer. Alcune specifiche prerogative dello Schnauzer, quali ad esempio la rusticità e l'innata attitudine alla guardia sono un patrimonio che sarebbe sbagliato disperdere. Lo standard di razza altro non e' che la descrizione in forma scritta di come debba essere costruito e caratterialmente dotato uno Schnauzer per meglio assolvere agli impieghi per i quali e' stato selezionato, ed e' per tale ragione che riteniamo di vitale importanza per la razza stessa il produrre soggetti aderenti a tale standard. Tutti i nostri Schnauzer, adulti o cuccioli che siano, vivono in casa con noi. Pur non trattandosi di una scelta, ma piuttosto dell'incapacita' di intendere in maniera differente il rapporto con ognuno di essi, non solo quindi soggetti da riproduzione ed esposizione ma anche e, soprattutto, compagni di vita, non possiamo non constatare come tale situazione renda assai piu' socievoli i cuccioli prodotti. Non possiamo dimenticare che i nostri cuccioli oltre ad essere belli dovranno saper allietare la vita dei loro proprietari. Dovranno rendersi compagni insostituibili, come, a parer nostro, solo gli Schnauzer sanno essere. Non è infatti un caso che siano assai pochi i possessori di Schnauzer che decidono in seguito di cambiare razza. Affinche' cio' possa avvenire e' fondamentale che ogni singolo cucciolo venga altamente socializzato nel periodo nel quale resta in allevamento. Questo e' il nostro impegno, che assolviamo con dedizione, abituandolo fin dalle prime settimane di vita alle situazioni ed ai rumori piu' disparati. Richiediamo ad ogni nuovo proprietario il proprio personale impegno a proseguire nella socializzazione del cucciolo acquistato. Molti dei soggetti sino ad oggi prodotti vivono in famiglie con uno o piu' bambini e la grande gioia che lo Schnauzer esprime li rende splendidi compagni di giochi, per la soddisfazione di grandi e piccoli. |
The choices on the matings are always due to careful analysis. Not only of the specimens used but, with the limit of the informations available, of their ascendants, offsprings and collaterals. The results since now obtained, not only in the show rings, on the woking fields, in obedience, as utility or pet therapy dogs by our specimens and their offspings, but furthermore the high satisfaction of the new owners of our pups tell us that the track we are driving is the right one. The Schnauzer breeds are placed (in the F.C.I. classification) within the utility, guard and defense dogs. This classification, even if today maybe seldom relating to the real employment of the majority of the produced specimens, should not divert from what have been and, in our eyes should remain, the morphological and temperamental qualities of the Schnauzers. Some specific characteristics of the Schnauzers, such as the rusticity and the inbred guarding aptitude are a patrimony which would be wrong to waste. The breed standard is just the written description of how a Schnauzer should be constructed like and temperamentally provided to best accomplish the employments he has been originally selected for. It is for this reason that we feel paramount for the breed itself to produce specimens who adhere to the standard. All our Schnauzers adult and pups, live in our house. Without this even being a choice, but just the incapacity to have a different way of relating with each of them, ours are not only reproducing or show dogs but also and above all the companions of our life, we cannot avoid to notice how this situation makes the pups produced far more human friendly. We cannot forget that our pups further of being beautiful will have to cheer their owner's life. They will have to be unreplaceable companions, as in our eyes, only Schnauzers can be. It is not just a case infact that are very few the Schnauzer owners who decide to go for a different breed. So that this can happen it is fondamental for each sigle pup to be hightly socialized while being at our kennel. This an engagement that we accomplish with great devotion, getting each pup used, since his very first weeks, to the most different situations and sounds. We further require to the new owners their personal engagement to continue in the socialization of the purchased puppy. Many of the pups we have produced since now live in families with one or more children and the great joy that a Schnauzer expresses makes him a playful companion, for the satisfaction of adults and youngs. |
